DetectNZ was formed in October 2012 with the intention of providing a quality service for people who metal detect in New Zealand. It is our intention to bring you a growing range of the best gear available to enhance your enjoyment of this rewarding outdoor activity.
As many products as possible will be DetectNZ field tested to further ensure they deliver for you on performance and value.
You will see on this site our range is based around the excellent quality metal detectors from Minelab.
DetectNZ is an authorised Minelab distributer for New Zealand.
DetectNZ trades as a sales division of Hygiene Specialties Ltd, Auckland who were established in 1997.
I have been Hobby Detecting since 2011 and now use a Minelab CTX 3030 which I highly recommend as a high performance machine.
